# Land Discovery and Categories

## Land Discovery and Categories

Use `/lands list` to browse lands on the server.

The list can show land details such as members, level, title, tag, category, and whether you can teleport there. Your server decides which details and buttons are enabled.

## Categories

Categories help players find lands with a purpose, such as shops, PvP arenas, mob farms, or lands looking for members.

Land owners can change their land category from the land menu:

1. Open `/lands`.
2. Open the land settings or miscellaneous menu.
3. Choose the category option.

Other players can then filter or recognize your land by that category in `/lands list`.

## Looking for Members

Some servers have a category for lands that are looking for members.

If a land uses that category, players may be able to request membership from `/lands list`. The land may also have an option to accept those requests automatically.

## Tags and Titles

Land tags are short names shown in some menus, messages, and placeholders.

Land titles are short descriptions that can appear when players enter the land or view it in menus.

Both are usually changed from the land menu, if your role has permission to edit them.
