Map and Tools

Map and Tools

This page describes the latest plugin version. If these commands don't work on your server, it may still be running an older version where you select a land first with /lands edit <land> before running commands against it.

Lands has a few tools that help you understand claims around you.

Map

Use /lands map to open the claim map.

Use /lands map chat to show the map in chat.

Use /lands map link to get the web map link, if your server has one.

Some servers let you claim by clicking chunks in the map.

View Borders

Use /lands view to show nearby land borders.

Use /lands view here to show the area you are standing in.

Use /lands view stay to toggle whether the border height follows you.

Use /lands view disable to hide the border particles.

If you do not see borders, check that particles are enabled in your Minecraft settings.

Selection Tool

Use /lands selection to turn selection mode on or off.

Select two corners, then use /land <land> claim to claim the selected chunks.

Use /lands selection expand to toggle full-height selection.

You can also use /lands selection expand <down> <up> to expand the selection by a specific amount.

Claim List

Use /land <land> claim list to view the chunks of a land.

First Join Items

Your server may give you Lands items when you join for the first time.

These can include:

  • Selection tool: select chunks or areas.

  • Info tool: click a claim to see information.

  • Camp item: create a temporary camp.

  • Claim block: place it to claim chunks.

Your server decides which items exist and how they work.

Storage

Use /land <land> storage to open a land's shared storage, if your server enabled it.

Invites and Inbox

Use /lands invites menu to view land invites and ownership requests.

Use /lands menu inbox to view land news and logs.

Personal Settings

Use /lands menu personal-settings to change personal options such as invite messages, land enter messages, and inbox notices.

Safety Teleports

Use /lands unstuck if you are trapped inside a claim. It teleports you to nearby wilderness.

Use /lands rtp to random teleport, if your server enabled it.
