# Installation

1. Stop your server.
2. Put ChestProtect.jar in your plugins folder.
3. Start your server.
4. Edit configuration how you like it.\
   Config can be found in the plugins folder /plugins/ChestProtect
5. If you use paper, please make sure that `hopper.disable-move-event` is set to `false`.
6. Restart the server.

Please always stop your server before installing updates. The config and locale files automatically add new entries and remove no longer existing entries.
